Why We're Here
Mike lived in Mountain Home through his school years, graduating in 1987 from a local high school where he played football and basketball. His parents, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, once owned a resort in Mountain Home. While Mike was in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Va., he met Trish, who lived in Virginia Beach, Va. Her work experience and college education centered on hotel/restaurant management, with the “plus” of banking experience.

To raise their family, Mike and Trish chose Arkansas, welcoming a chance for Mike to return to the area he knew as home. They opened the doors to The Lakehouse Restaurant & Lounge November 18, 1994.
